Re: Lexington Meet Up

I'm all for setting up a Saturday/Sunday night thing. Here's what I've noticed that works in the NKY/Cincinnati area: Easy to find location. Large well lit parking lot. Area where cops will not bother you (a place/parking lot that isn't being used). When I first started hanging out with the locals w...

Re: 98 Hatch. tougeSolo build

I've got somewhere between 3-4K worth of money into it. Shell-1500ish. Motor-450. ITR trans- (well, I can't say how much I paid for it, because it was a steal!), manifold/rail/tb 200. plus various other sensors, gaskets, and parts. I think I've listed it at 4500. But that's more so for trade value.

You can buy mine. Never tied to any projects :) Also, I felt the need to see my progress transition into the car. So I went ahead and dropped the motor in. It'll probably have to come out again so I can do some finishing work on coolant hoses, get it properly wired, and get the clutch/flywheel in. B...

98 Hatch. tougeSolo build

Chassis: A rust free 98 Civic Hatch DX manual. Engine: B20B High Compression. Trans: Integra Type R LSD 5spd. So far: Interior gutting. Basically everything that isn't needed, is gone. The pain in the ass part was the sound deadening. But a few exceptions are made. Door panels are still on to hold t...

Re: Lexington Meet Up

Thursday nights used to be the Pit (the end of the downtown strip) but that's now a restaurant parking area. So I think some of them moved to the small parking garage at Kinko's/Jimmie Johns. When I lived in Florence, every night you could find group somewhere. But down here, there just isn't that s...

Re: 1997 Integra Circle Track Racecar

Yeah, looks like a kids toy with that white and graphics. But I dig it.

I've considered getting into this as well since it's probably the easier one to get into being in central KY. But that'd require buying a truck, trailer, and then a shell to build. Pricey!
